interests of Our Town.

2-3 per cent increase on
gross pounds at this time
is excessively high and
not justifiable when gross
poundage by steamship is
only five and one half
cents per pound. With the
pending reduction of ot
her types of carrier ser§
vice to the Virgin Islands
it seems unbusinesslike to
increase rates at a time
when the volume poten
tial of freight to Caribair
may soon be doubled.
