September 1952 there will be a charge for all cars stored inside the Ter minal Building. The rate for storageis 25¢ per car for twen ty-four hours or part thereof, Special arrangements may be made on a monthly basis. Cars of the Federal and Mu-J nicipal Government, Civil Ae romautics, Caribair and Pan American Airways will be stcred free of charge. Refuses To OK 1 Funds For 1 Woodstock Reward A request made by Gov ernor de ,oastro for the ap propriation of SIOO as the munic(if)ality’s share of the reward offered by him, through public subscrip tion, for the return of Ma ria Woodstock, was recent ly rejected by the Munici pal Comm:ttee. We were under the im pression that the reward offered by the Governor was a personal commit ment, the Committee stated. In reply, the Governor declared: ~ “I am astonished that the Municipal Committee w o uld insinuate that I asked the Municipality to relieve me of a personal commitment. ““The fact is that I open ed the reward fund with an offer of the Municipali ty to contribute SIOO, in the belief, that the Muni cipal Council would appro priate the funds for such a worthy purpose. At the same time I announced a personal contribution of SSO, which was paid in to the Director of Police on April 9th. | “The impression of the Committee, as contained in your letter, is in serious error and this should be corrected promptly.” Members of the Com mittee also indicated they were opposed to the request as a matter o f principle since the Gov ervor made the pledge without legislative know ledge. : The Development Aul:horityJ w ill not be responsible for thefts, damage by fire, or da-‘ mage to persons or personal property.
