Ambrose Viewed As Certain To Be Replaced . Daniel W. Ambrose, who was selected to serve as Government Secretary of the Virgin Islands after several months of specula tion and furious jockeying, is resigned to his fate now that the Republicans have tak en over the White House. House last week. Messrs. | Albert Commissiong, Paull Boulon Jr., and Helga Jep-| pesen were designated de-l puty fire chiefs. ' Speciat fire fighting equipment has been assign to each of these teams and they will be responsible for its operation. Training classes will be conducted and regular fire drills held iin cooperation with the Fire 'Department regular per 'sonnel. : It was also decided at the meeting that the siren fire alarm would be rein stituted immediately, and the fire siren signal will be four steady blasts of all the public sirens each with in thirty seconds duration with thirty seconds inter vals.
