Jenkins, of yard engine No. 1H4,
moved bis head to a place of safety the
other night just In time to keep It
from being knocked off by. a' heavy
stone which, was thrown by a young
woman of this city. The stone went
through the window and played all
about the .machinery lnside,-: but did
not do any serious damage. The girl
threw the stone, It Is said, because she
was mad at the fireman, and she said
she was hot at biiti because she is
jealous of him. Further..than this
little is known of their' difficulties.
It ,is said,she wjll bo arrested ,in the ,
near future'.
