The bill alleges two rewns why the will should be set aside. The first is that undue iuduence was used I l.lizabeth B. F. Keddick and others over V.T.I inn Keddick in and about the making of the will; and the other is that William Ked d'.i k at the time the will was made was v.'ry sick, and had been for a long time sick, an I was kept under the influence of narcot ics, stimulants and other strong medicines, and that his mind was seriously affected thereby, and that his mind had been break Wi d jwn from the commencement of his sickness, and consequently he was not of muni and disposing mind when the will was made. IViih these allegations of the bill are de ni'd by the defendants. The trial will un doubtedly be an interes:ing one, and will probably occupy at least two weeks' time. Obituary. Mrs. Bridget Brown died of the infirmi. ties of age, on the 20th inst., at the resi dence of her sun, Patrick Brown, in the town of Wallace, at the age of 87 years. It was to the cabin of Henry Thomas that preacher Sample and his wife directed their course from Rock Is laud in May, 1832. Thomas and his family had Bed, and Mr. and Mrs. Sample were cap tured by Uirty's band next day, as near as could be subsequently ascertained, where Princeton now stands, and were tied to a tree just west of town, near what is now known as Knox's graveyard, and burned to death. It was claimed that Mrs. Stuchel was the first white child born in the county. This claim was disputed in some quarters in favor of a ion born in the Hoskins family However it may be as to which of the two had precedent e, there was no dispute as to the fact that she was the first white girl born in the county.
