day of November, U74, an assessment of five
dollars and fifty cents (S5 SU) per share was
levied upon the capital stock of the corpora
tion, payable on or before the loth day of De
cember," 1874, to the Treasurer, F. I. F. Tem
ple, a! the banking house of Temple A Work
man, Los Angeles city.
Any stock upon Which this assessment shall
remain unpaid on the said 15th day of Decem
ber, 1874, will lie delinquent and advertised lor
