John Satter lund were among the Wilton vis itors Tuesday. This was Senator Young's first visit to Wilton for four years and the changes were very marked since that time, so he stated. They went to Washburn for a short stay. Mr. and Mrs. Simon Jahr re turned Tuesday from a ten days' visit with friends and relatives at Hillsboro and Portland, in this state. Mr. Jahr says the spring is backward there also, and while a large acreage of grain has been put in the ground there is very little of it up. This part of the state is as well off as any other portion. They had a very pleas ant time during their absence. Monday morning, when the seal on a car of lumber consigned to the Wilton Mercantile Company was broken open four hoboes crawled out and proceeded to cir culate around town. As this car was supposed to be closed in the state of Washington and billed through, where they got on is yet a mystery. The end door to their Pullman was probably overlooked by the sealer of the car, and they took passage while the car was en route. THE COODRICH CITIZEN.
