CHRISTMAS. SERVICE AT THE
COURT ROOM SUNDAY EVENING
A Christmas Service will be held at
every point on the Washburn Circuit,
Sunday, December 24th, 1922. At Fair
view in the morning at 10:30 and at
Conkling in the afternoon at 3:30.
The service in Washburn will be held
at the Court Room at 8:00 in the eve
ning. A very cordial invitation s ex

Fred Macomber, Andrew Sauer and
William Stone, which were tested a

R. E. Klein has made arrangements
•vith C. A. Brummond, owner of the
Brummond Livery Barn, to operate
and manage it during the winter
months. Mr. Klein states that any
one who-wishes to put their horses up
for the day can feed and water them
there at a nominal cost. Mr. Klein

HAVE, FIRE SCARE WEDNESDAY
Two high school students, Miss
Grace Thompson and Miss Wyona
Todd, who have a room upstairs over
in the Thomas building next to the
Whitlock Cafe,' became frightened
when the chimney in their room be
came hot and they thought the build
ing was afire.
An alarm was turned in and in half
a minute the hose cart w.as there on
the job with about half the town
along with it. It was soon found out
however that there was no fire so the
water was not turned on-
