DOCTOR WEDDERBURN’S STOMACHIC BITTERS WERE well proven in the Fall of 1832, when the Cholera was in the City of Richmond, and at the same time in Alexandria; the popu lation of Richmond being 12,000, and that of Alexandria 8,000. The former lost of its inha bitants by Cholera 479, and this town only 56, as officially reported in each place. The above Bitters were used freely in most of the families here, and in all the Taverns, but more particu larly at Clagett-s Hotel. The people of Rich mond had not the advantage of providing them selves with this grand preventive of Cholera, Bilious Fever, and Ague.
