Morrison Dear Sir—The Comprehensive Bible now in a process of publication, and for which you are the Agent in Alexandria, 1 have perused—so far as the time allotted me would permit—with some care, and with no small amount of interest. With Henry, and Scott, and Clarke, and Cul mut, &c, Irom whose valuable labors the work has been compiled, I have long been familiar: and as it has concentrated and suitably arrang ed, all the most important and profitable matter to be found in each of these, and as the Theo logical views which it exhibits, are strictly Evan gelical, I cannot help regarding it as one of the most useful Commentaries, for families, Bible Classes, and Sunday School Teachers, that has ever been published!1— and as such I have^ no hesitation in cordially recommending it. The only thing strange about it is, how so much in teresting and important matter has been crowd ed into such a small space, and at such a mode rate price.
