and others fur leave to erect wooden build
ings. were referred to the Committee on P u b

The resignation of -John 1 hompson as
Xii'ht Watchman was received and accept
ed.
Council order relative to copying the pro
ceedings of the Town Trustees was agreed to,
And alter some other business ol no inter
est, the Board adjourned.
In Common Coincmi., W. lb Massev in
the Chair, leave was given to erect frame
buildings to <?eo. McBurney, l'hos. Scott,
and Mrs. MeCiraw.
An order to have copied the proceedings

A statement of the expenditures ol the
Overseers of the Poor, was submitted.
