Confessed Killing Her Child.? Mrs.:Annie Pensal, a thin, dark, trim, little woman, went to confession at St. Francis Xavier's Catholic Church Fri? day night and entered tlie confessional box in which Father McGovcrn was sitting. She seemed quiet aud self possessed. She told the priest that she bad strangled aud killed her six mouths old baby Mary. She said that she lived at i 11 west Fifteenth street, New York, with her husband Fred, who is out of work, aud her three sons, her twin boys i"red and George, aged 6 years, and a third boy aged 4. For the last few days she suiil she had strange thoughts. She believed there were witches next door. She believed that she was bewitched and that she was soon to kill her little girl. There seemed to be no escape from her ideas. At noon on Friday she felt the time had come. The husband was not at home, and the three boys were playing together in one of the rooms. In another room was her daughter Mary, asleep on the bed. She went to the bed without waking the child, aud thrust her band down the child's throat until it choked to death. The girl made no outcry, aud there was no struggle. The neighbors in the houso heard aud knew nothing of the deed. When she had told how she had kill? ed her baby, the priest left her in the church and stepped to the door to call a policeman. Officer Currau chanced to be going by. aud he was eaHed in. The priest told him to go with the wo? man to her home and see if what she bad said had really happened, for the priest could hardly believe it The of? ficer and the woman hurried arouud to her rooms, and there Curran found things very much as she had described them to the priest. He took Mr?. Pensal to the police station. She stood quietly before the desk and seem? ed at ease. The sergeaut listened with unbelief to Curran's story aud then turned to the woman and asked her if it were true. She brushed aside the plaid shawl which she wore on her head and said it was true. She was sent to the Bellevue insane pavilion. The three little boys were sent to the Gerry society. Rudy's Pile Suppository is guaranteed to cure PELFS and CONSTIPA?
