coat of a mlle of eteam railroad ia abont
$25,000; the coat per tnile of the tnnnel

more tban 19,600,000. Tbe company
has thns far expended $102,000,000 and
will expend $160,000,000 before the im?

is dne to begin late in Jnne or early in
