City Council Taken Under J Advisement f ' After hearing arguments yesterday in the tax suit of David G. GriJlbortzer against the city of Alex1 andria, Judge Henry W. Holt, oi J Staunton, took the ease under ad| visement and announced that he will render a decision in about a fortnight. The amount involved in Mr. . Grillbortzer's suit is $202.-10, the j amount of taxes which he claims, together with Fairfax county, should go into the coffers of that county, but which this city maintains belongs to it, owing Lo the fact that Grillbotzer is a resident of that portion of- Fairfax county annexed ovei ; a year ago to this city, i The suit is in reality, therefore ia test case of the rights of this city 1 to collect taxes from residents of the annexed territory in Alexandria , and Fairfax counties, and a decis. ion by Judge Holt, will declare wheth ., er the total of .$8,500 in taxes from other residents of these districts bei longs to either of the two counties ! or to the city of Alexandria.
