The Rev. E. Q. Hunter has seen red the three lots just east of the residence of Mr. Jas. McMillan for an Episcopal church. The lots are well located and, in every way, desirable. We understand that a chapel will probably be built the present year. Next Thursday, May 10th, being Aseen don Day the Rev. E. O. Hunter will hold services, in the Court Hottse, in the even log at the regular hour for service. Mr. Hunter has a trip to Lac-qui-Parle to make and, if it should interfere with his return ing in time for services, due notice will be given. At present it is his expectation to be here end hold service on Ascencion Day. At the Teschers' ex»mtnati*n, last Fri there were thirty-five applicants for certificates. Mr, Bigharn has not yet ex amined all the papers but it is probable that, except in a few instances, they will warrant the granting of certificates. The number of teachers in attendance was much larger than at any pfivious examina tion held inthis County. The church has no minister at present. In this evening a large Union prayer meeting was held in the Presbyterian church. The Rev. Mr. Galpin, pastor of the M. E. Church, was not at home and his people attended the services of the oth er churches. We are glad to know that, in this community, there was an almost universal recognition of the appropriate ness of the call to fasting and prayer. The recent visit of prof. Hyde to this place, iu connection with the Institute, calls to our mind the Minneapolis Business College, of which he is Associate Principal. The College is recognized by the people of Minneapolis, and in fact of *he State at large, as one of the educational Institutions for which they may and do entertain a Just pride. The College merits the high opin ion that is entertained of it. It is thor oughly organised, all of its appointments are complete and it embraces everything necessary to a thorough business education and training. The Instructors are Profes sors C. C. Curtis and C. W. G. Hyde. Prof. Curtis is the Author of the "Natural Method of Penmanship" which is univer sally accepted as one of the best, and many believe will soon supplant all other meth ods. He has, also, been a successful teach er in connection with the Winona Normal and other schools. With those who met Prof. Hyde, or heard his instructions in the Institute, no commendation ia needed We are gratified to know that the College is meeting with merited success. The tui tion has been placed at reasonable figures and, by a plan of monthly installments, is made light on the student. We have no hesitation in aaying that a better plr.ee for aoquiriog a business education cannot be found and we have no personal knowledge of and other that is as good. II DANIELS. Redwood Fal's. A dressing which is at once agree able, healthy, and effectual for preserv ing the hair. Faded or gray hair is soon restored to it* original color, with the gloss and freshness of youth. Thin hair i9 thiekencd, falling hair checked, and baldness often, though not always* curcd by its use. Nothing can re» store the hair where the follicles arfc destroyed, or the glands atrophied and decayed. But such as remain can be saved for usefulness by this application. Instead of fouling tho hair with a pasty sediment, it will keep it clean and vigorous. Its occasional use will prevent the hair from turning gray or falling off", and consequently prevent baldness. Free from those deleterious sub stances which make some prepara tions dangerous and injurious to the hair, the Vigor can only benefit but not harm it. If wanted merely for a HAIR DRESSING, nothing else can be found so desir* able. Containing neither oil nor dye, it does not soil white cam brie, and yet lasts long on the hair, giving it a rich glossy lustre and a grateful perfUme. PREPARED BY Dr. J. C.
