Mr. Raymond Cheney of Mor gan spent several days here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clark. Irvin McKay spent Sunday with his brother-in-law and sis ter, Mr. and Mrs. James Howie son at Mapleton. Mr. McKay also visited his mother, Mrs. Eliz abeth McKay who recently re turned from California where she been for two years with her daughter, Mrs. Ray Sweet and family. Mrs. D. H. Yaeger and son Rog- ! er were Saturday shoppers in Redwood Falls. Sam Helgeson of Renville was a Delhi caller Monday. George Leslie visited Tuesday with his aunt, Mrs. Anne Mac- Dougall and his sisters, Mrs. Mary McHenry and Mrs. C. C. Leslie. De Bates Walnut Grove —Miss Ida Dan ielson who has been stationed at Manila, Philippine Islands, for a few years landed in San Fran cisco April 21 and arrived here Thursday for a visit at the home of her sisted Mrs. T. W. Prail and her brother Albert J. Danielson. She came from Man ila to California by the air route, on the China Clipper. After her vacation she will be stationed at Washington, D. C. She visited China and Japan this spring. Mrs. Victor Anderson and Mrs. R. C. Soil who attended the four day session of the annual conven vention of the Womens Mission ary society of the Augustana Sy nod in Minneapolis returned Fri day. Mr. and Mrs. Emil Butler and two children returned from Los Angeles where they spent the winter. Rev. and Mrs. A. B. Waif rid who visited at the parental Carl J. Johnson home returned to their home at Holms City Thursday. The American Legion Auxiliary met Tuesday afternoon at the Vir nell Addison home. Mrs. J. E. Lund accompanied Mrs. R. A. Cooper of Redwood Falls to Minneapolis to visit Miss Gertrude Lund who is employed in an insurance office. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schieber and Mr and Mrs. George Russell at tended a reception at Seaforth in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Ed King Tuesday evening. Mrs. Russell and Mr. King are cousins.
