Dean's Chemical Plaster.- It is now abont- four years since the proprietor introduced thii plaster to the attention- of the afflicted. Its effect is not only to prevent inflamation in ee vere cases of burn and wounds of every de. senptjon but to cure inflamation both internal and external at any stage of its existence. Its uniform effect in hundreds of cases abun dantly proves that, as yet, no medicine has been introduced to the public possessing such pow er to cure inflammatory diseases of every kind, not excepting inflammatory rheumatism, gait flheum, fellons, fever sores, cancer or the in. iormation'in the eyes; as the plaster now of. fercd. One very peculiar quality of it is, that ft generally relieves the pain in a few hour after it is applied. For boto eyes shut the eye and put the plaster directly on the eye and wear it (removing it once in twelve hour and washing off the matter on the eye with cas tile soap,) till the inflamation is entirely out, say from three to ten days... The proprietor never thought of applying it to sore eye un til about two years ince, when he applied it to a case in his family and was astonished at the result. Since then he has applied it in ma ny severe cases and it has uniformly effected cure and leaves the eye natural and free front any ' mflatnatory appearance as though it had not been sore. He fully believes that almost every case of sore eyes may be cured by it in a Tew days, except in cases of intemperance. , -j v,i vri ' . CERTIFICATE. . ... v :, ., , i Mr. E. Mean. Mayville N., Y. August 36, 1837. ., , Mr. E. Dean. Sir, Mr. Rodolphua Brown, my father-in-law, some time last fall, had a se vere attack of the inflamation in both eyes, to that he could not bear the light, and scarcely sec, after using various remedies for three weeks and his eyes still growing worse, and so painful that he could not rest day or night,-, he applied your chemical plaster and in a few hours his eyes were easy, and began to discharge freely, and the inflamation began to disappear; we continued the plaster for one week remo-. ving the inflamation, and his eyes assumed their former appearance. We also applied in one of the worst cases of fellon, which afforded relief in a few hours so that the individual had a good night's rest. For six days and night previous he had not been free from excessive pain fa some of tho time he had been so distract ed, with pain that he had to be held by force. CLARK GOULD. Portland N. Y. Feb. 22, 1837.' Mr. E. Dean. Sir, I have now sold at ra tail about 400 boxes of your Chemical Plaster and have beard from a great portion of them as producing the desired effect. Several impor tant cases in this vicinity which came under my knowledge, where other medicines had been tried for years without effect, have been cured. In fact, I think it one of the most valuable me dicines for curing inflamatory diseases ever in vented, aud do think the suffering of the afflic ted demand that you should give it a general . circulation, and make its virtues known. ..;.: .
