There has long existed a public demand or an
effective purgative pill which could he relied on a
sure nnd perfectly safe in its operation. This h.-n
been prepared to meet that demand, and an exten

than counterbalance the good to be derived from

unless it arise from a previously existing obstruc
tion or derangement in the bowels. Being purely
vegetable, no harm can arise from their use m any
quantity ; Lut it is better that any medicine tlmuhl
bo taken judiciously. Minute directions for their
use in the several discuses to which they are ap
plicable nr" oiven on the box. Amour the com
plaints which have been sneedily cured by them, we
may mention Livtr Complaint, in its various form
of Jaundice, Indigestion, Languor and Loss of Ap
petite, Listlessne.s, Irritability, Bilioti-. Headache,

ud Loins ; fur, in truth, all these are hut the con
sequence of discard action in the liver. As an

doubt what remedy to employ when in need of a
