Our Petoskey neighbors aro uning considerable bombast in regard to their 4th of July celebration. Of course it is business to make the most of these things, but Petoskey oversteps the bounds of modesty in this respect. Ihey claim that the w. A. R. from Cheboygan will participate, when the fact is, the Test have accented the invitation of the committe to take a prominent part In our home celebration. They are also counting on "whole train loads" of people from Cheboygan, but our pinion is a cigar box will held all the people Petoskey will get from here on that day. Cheboygan is not doing much blowing, but is going to come to the front in all branches of her celebration, a little ahead of anything in Northern Michigan. Everything advertised here will positively take place, aad prizes will be paid in fall. Petoskey people ought to come, over and get a few pointers on that day and then make a start for a celebration in 1835 without the bombast which characterizes their presont effort. 1 Tonehcm Iimtlliite.
