The latter was stricken with oaralvsis bout a year ago, due to a bulletin his body received during the war, and was hurt in a runaway about four weeks ago. Mr. Massey discovered today, upon receipt of the new statute book, that the act was amended before passage, making the number seven instead of fifteen. Mr. Dorsey was one of the few who witnessed the shoot ing of the notorious Bill Nutting of that town two weeks ago. He stated to a reporter that Nutting was in bad shape, the ball, a large Winchester, having shattered the bone of bis right thigh beyond permanent repair. Mr. Dorsey stated that the marshal who did the shooting had a warrant for Nutting either dead or alive, and when Hutting heard of this he said: ' Very well, be will have to take me MM."
