Be it Ordained by the Mayor and Council of the city of Colby, Thomas count), and state of Kansas: Sec. 1. That section one(l) of ordinance number two) be amended, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: That regular meetings of the board of city councilmen shall be held on the first Tuesday night of each month, at 'he hours specified as follows, to-wit: In the months or June, July and August at eight o'clock p. m. An Ordinance to amend section one(l) of ordi nance number twentj-five(i"), relating to pool and billiard tables. Be it Ordained by the mayor and council men of the city of Colby: Sec. 1. That section one(l) of ordinance number twenty-nvefi'i), entitled an ordinance to amend section two2) of ordinance number three(3),relating to pool and billiard tables.be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Allapplicati ns for license under this ordinance shall be by petition in writing to the mayor and board of councilmen of the city of Colby, stating the name of the person or persons applying for the same, and des cribing the proposed place of business, and the applicant or applicants shall at the same time flic in the office of thecity clerk his or their bond to the city of Colby in toe penal sum of Three Hundred Dollars, with sufiteient sureties to be approved by the city council men, conditioned that be or they will keep an orderly house, and will not permit any unlaw ful gaming, drunkenness, quarreling or oth r disorderly conduct therein, or, in any prerals es connected therewith, or thereunto -belonging, nor permit or safer any minor under the age of eighteen years, or apprentice to play therein on any billiard, pool or pigeon hole table in or about such premises without a per mission from the parent, guardian or master or mistress of such minor or apprentice.
