indicated, manufacturing the timber into
furniture, other useful articles and ether com
mercial objects that may be useful in the busi
ne. s or for sale. To construct, maintain and
operate electric lighting plants using any kind
of motive power. To acquire, take in its name
or take c harge of in part or in whole of the
present or past business of any person, firm or
corporation, undertaking any business that
the Company may deem proper. To enter into
partnership or into any agreement or contract
to divide profits, join interests, co-operation,
take part in speculations or make any other
agreement with any person, firm or corpora
tion, taking cliarge 'of or binding itself in any
business or transaction that the Company may
dee'.;! proper to undertake, i?r take charge of,
and t; loan money, guarantee contract., or in
any other manner aid any person or peisons or
company; and to take and acquire in any
other manner stock 01 bonds of any
company, to sell, own, reissue them with or
without security or negotiate them in any

pany. To acquire, ccntract and own its own
shares or be it the capital stock issued in them.
To operate any other Company with the object
of acquiring all or any part of the property or
obligations of any Company or with any other
object that-may be deemed, with more or less
precision, beneficial to the corporation. To
admit or accept founders shares or capital
stock or obligations of any company a the
value or price or part of tho value- fixed for the
sale of the whole or part of tin; business, prop
erty and enterprises of the corporation in con-iK-c'ioi)
with any other transueimn and to
distribute any values among the stockholders
of the corporation be it in money or any shares
and obligations, and in general to take and
own shares, capital stock or obligations in any
company, corporation or association. To bor
row money for any object or need of the cor
poration, with the condition that the loan be
guaranteed, or in any other manner to mort
gage or hypothecate all or any part of the
property of the corporation and of its capital
issued; and to create, make, draw, accept and
issue bonds, certificates of stock, drafts, holes
or other obligations or security transmissible
or negotiable. To invest, loan and negotiate
with funds of the corporation, not in need at
the time, on such security or bonds, in such
manner to be determined from time to time by
eighty per cent of the votes according to the
capital subrcribed before a regular meeting of
stockholders.
Fifth. The capital of this corporation shall
be Fifty Thousand Dollars, Mexican money,
divided into one thousand shares of the par
value of fifty dollars -each, fully paid up and
non-assessable.
Sixth. W illiam C. Greene subscribes to the
Company Forty-Nine Thousand liolUrs and
Norton " Chase subscribes Cine Thousand
Hollars; ten per cent of which sums must be
deposited by said gentlemen, in the Treasury
of the Company, at its first meeting and at
which time the treasurer shall he named.
seventh. The direction and management of
this corporation shall be in charge of a Hoard
of I i rectors consisting of live members or
shareholders, who shall have the power and
j authority of their olliee as provided in the
i Commercial Code and all othor duties and
! powers except- those reserved by the share
j holder of the corporation in its By-Laws,
j which By-Laws shall be adopted and approved

Knurrn. The reserve fund of the eirporaUon

j and five percent of the profits of the company

I Ninth. The profits made by the corporation
j shall be distributed among 'the shareholders
