Robt. Harold Short, six months old
son of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Short, died
Sunday evening at 7 o’clock. The
little one has only been sick since Fri
day, but was taken with congestion,
and grew rapidly worse until the end
came. The funeral services were con
ducted this afternoon at the residence
| on Clardy avenue by Rfv. J. T. Howell.
Burial took place at Oak'Ridge ceme
| tery. The Rec$?d extends deepest
sympathy to the bereaved parents,
brothers, and sisters of the little one.

FIRST BAPTIST NOTES
Yesterday was a great day with us
The largest Sunday School and cong
regation for several weeks. One ad
dition at eleven o’clock, two baptised
at 6 p. m. The young ladies, were:
Misses Francis Lloyd and May Barlow
converts from the Walco meeting. The
writer never worked with a noblejt\.and
band at Walco. Our regular appoint
ments there will be continued. I am in
a meeting this week with the Oah
Grove church, six miles west of Mal
vern. The outlook for a good meeting
is bright. The revival season is on
let prayer be made that many souls be
saved.
