These days proceeding Christmas there
is a prevailing dullness in the social
world, seemingly everyone is preparing
for the great annual festival. Immedi
ately following the holidays quite a
number of parties are scheduled and the
rounds of pleasure for the socially it -
dined will be kept going all the time.

Henry and Mrs. Willis celebrate their
golden wedding, Dec. 15.
Mrs. Henry Horn, ofßrillion, has been
a visitor in the city.
Mrs. G. W. Cooper has been entertain
ing Mrs. Moore, of Milwaukee.
Miss Agnes Dore. who has been a
guest of .uiss Louisa Mullins, of Brillion,
is home again.
Miss Emma Schier, of Appleton, is a
visitor in Manitowoc for the Christmas
holidays.
The Social Dancing club gave a hop
at the Northside Opera house last Fri
day evening.
