P. and Oscar Larson were in Chicago last week, returning the early •art of this week. Miss Laura Daeke returned to her tome last Friday after a week’s visit in tfilwaukee. Mrs. A. C. Schloerb who has been vis ting in Oshkosh arrived home on Mon lay. Mrs. Mills Anderson will attend the narriage of her father to Miss Arm itrong at Wausau on January 28th. Michael Macmiller is visiting several )f his friends in Madison this week. Warren Clark is spending this week fishing friends in Chicago. Miss Carrie Bolz spent Sunday at Kaukauna. W. F. Ohde and Henry Mueller were at Applgton on Saturday to witness the performance of Flordora. Mrs Henry Mulholland entertained several friends at tea on Sunday evening. Miss Amanda Christiansen spent last Sunday with friends at Brillion. The marriage of Wesley Mitchell and Miss Florence Kuhl took place yester day. The bridal couple left for the south to enjoy their honeymoon. Norris Rhode came home from Mil waukee and spent last Sunday with his father. x Frank Seidl was in the city last Sun day to spend the day with his mother, lie returned on Monday to his school duties at Reedsville. The employes of the O. Torrison Co g attended the Sperl-Stinhel wedding at Kossuth Tuesday evening. Miss Amanda Christensen spent Saturday and Sunday at Brilliou. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur George, who have been visiting in Chicago for the past week are back home again. They arrived on Tuesday. Miss Mae Conahan of Chicago is visiting in the city. Samuel W. Randolph, senator from this district left for Madison on Monday to resume his legislative duties. Nicholas Terens of Mishicot, assem blyman from the second district passed through Manitowoc, on Monday, en route for Madison to participate in legislative business. Wonderful nerve. The marriage it Louis Reubel to Miss Mary Pahlkotter at Two Rivers Satur day evening was witnessed by a large number of friends from this city. The ceremony took place at the German Lutheran Reform church and was per formed by the Rev. Mr. Zenk of this city. Immediately after the ceremony the newly married couple repaired to the home of the bride’s parents where the event was celebrated in befitting style. Mr. and Mrs. Reubel will make their home at Two Rivers. Miss A guess Mulholland who has been visiting in Kenosha for two weeks is now in Milwaukee spending a few days with her aunt Miss Nellie O’Connor. Miss Isabella O’Connor goes to Mil waukee tomorrow to spend Saturday with her sister, Miss Nellie O'Connor, it is the latter’s birthday. Mrs. Chas. Hoyer entertained the Deutscber club on Thursday afternoon. The L. N. club enjoyed a sleighride to Teitgen’s Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Chas. Seeger is entertaining Mrs. Oviatt of Oshkosh. St. Faith’s guild met at the parlors of St. James church Tuesday afternoon. Miss Agnes Nelson entertains the L- N. C. club this evening. John Wells of Antigo, spent Sunday with Mrs. Wells, who is visiting with her mother, Mrs. O. Sonstagen. The sixth dance of the season was given by the Young Peoples’ Dancing club at the Opera house last night and was well attended. Harry Seeger has gone to Kenosha , where he will permanently reside. Mrs. Joseph Willott is very seriously ill and members of the family have been summoned. Mis. Willott has reached an advanced age and her ill ness causes much apprehension. Mrs. David Nottage, of Menasha and Mrs. A. Smith, of Appleton, daughters of Mrs. Willot are here. Henry Stolze has gone to Chicago to transact business appertaining to his company. A. C. Schreiter was in Milwaukee on business on Tuesday. Max Rabr was called to Milwaukee on business on Tuesday. Joseph Vilas left the city on Tuesday to transact business in Chicago. Cbas. E. Spindler left for Chicago where he will remain for the next ten days. A. J. Schmitz of Milwaukee is ex pected here today, having business be fore the courts.
