Co., Binghamton, N. Y. When writing men tion reading this generous offer in this paper, A few weeks before the death of President McKinley there was a com petition on the Exposition grounds at Buffalo between some manufacturers of fireworks. One of the largest pieces of fireworks was a fire portrait of Vice President Roosevelt. Under his por trait were the three words ‘ Our Vice President,” in red, white and blue letters. As soon as the features of Mr. Roosevelt became distinct to the spectators the words, “Our Vice,” suddenly went out and there was left the picture of Roosevelt and the word, ■ President,” stood out distinctly. This Incident has been frequently re called since Mr. McKinley’s death and the superstitious interpret it as an omen and a warning. Last week I went about, Full of trouble and of doubt. Now I’m smiling and dance with delight, I had some Rocky Mountain Tea last night. C.
