from Dovil's island, but it is thought that
thero are several boats aground there. It
is tho worst place betweou hero nnd St,
Louis, and by this morning there is prob
ably not much over three and n half feet
of water there. Tho lower Ohio is again
giving bonis trouble with her numerous
sandbars, und thero is scant four feet
water to Evansville. Tho full in the Ohio
at this placo yesterday was two inches.
