Congresimau Negloy recently Intro
duced in tho Hoiuo a bill modifying tho
itoamboat passenger act, by allowing tow-
boats on the Ohio and Miisiaslppl rivers

steam pronure, instead of one hundred
and ten pounds, with standard boilers of
forty-two Inchoj diameter aud plates a
