Applications should be made direct to the Surgeon Gene al, from whiso office the necessary blanks will furnished on re quest. i0 Upon applications for limbs in kind, or ders will be given by tbe Surgeon General, upon aiy m» nufaetuicr selected, who shall first hsve filed a bond iu the sum of Five Thoust ad Dollars, with Burettes, to furnish good aid satisfactory limbs, without extra charge to the soldier, and make good all defects of material or workmarship wiihont additional charge, subject in all. cases to the irspection of such persons as the Sur geon General may designate. Blank forms of bonds will be famished by this Office.
