Powell has recently removed to a handsome residence just completed. It is located in lower town, in the grove near Dr. Tolman's. Glines hai beea burned out. Everything was destroy ed except his house and contents. He lost his hey and grain, except a few bushels, that he thinks might befitfor seed, but has none for bread. He also loet six or eight fat hogs in fact this fire has cleaned the poor fellow out entirely, Even his reaper is a total loss. I understand the fire caught from his chimney. Insured in tha Republic. John Moore is leaving this place to-day. He will locate in Willmar, and make that his headquarters in the agricultural imple ment business. We have a young winter here.
