there is claimed to be doe, at tho date of this

ceedings at law haying been instituted to recover
any part thereof, notice is therefore hereby given
that on Wednesday, the 18th diiy of November
next, at twelve o'clock, noon, 1 shall sell at pub
lic auction, to the highest bidder, (sale to take
place at the front door of the Ottawa County
Circuit Court House, in the village of Grand
Haven) tha premises contained in such Mort
gage, (or ao ranch thereof as shall be necessary
to satisfy the amount duo on such Mortgage,
with seven per cent, interest, and legal costs,
together with an Attorney fee of fifty dollars,
covenanted for therein,) that is to say, the fol

(31), also the north-west quarter of tho north

the date of this order, and that in cose of his
appearance he cause his answer to the com
plainant's bill to be filod, and a copy thereof to
be served on the complainant's solicitor within
twenty days after service of a copy of said bill,
and notice of this order, and in default thereof
that said bill be taken as confessod by said de
fondant; and it is further ordered that within
twenty dayt after tho date of this order the said

dent of the United States, a Governor, Lieuten
ant Governor, Secretary of State, Auditor Gep
eral. State Treasurer, Commissioner of tbe State
Land Office, Attorney General, Superintendent
of Public Instruction, a Member of the State
Board of Education, in place of Witter J. Bax
ter, whose term of office will expire December
31st, 1861, and a Representative in Congress for
the 4tb Congressional District of this State, to
which your County is attached.
Also, a Senator for tbe 80th Senatorial Dis
trict, of which your county is a part, agreeable
to the provisions of Act No. 162, of the Session
Laws of 1861.
Also, a Representative for each of the two
Representative Districts into which your county
is divided, agreeable to the provisions of Act
No. 116, of tho Session Laws of 1861.
