rriHISGAd Is generated from- Pnre Coal Oil and

cannot be surpassed. The fix to res are in the same
style as tbe ordinary Gas fixtures. - .
Its advantages are : tliat it is a portable gas light,
no rivnled for brilliancy, cheapness. cleaulinjss and
simplicity, and can be used wherever artiaciil light
is required. It is easy to regulate, and requires no
trimming, and for attention, wuaiever. after light,
ing. It is perfectly safe and free from explosion,
aud baa no odor or smell while burning. Tho light
can be made to burn with any degree of brilliancy,
by turning a screw, aud be increased instant ine
ously in volume from that of a candie to ten or
twenty, by turning a valve as in ordinary sue.
The Vesper tias name and fixtures precisely re
semble, iu form , those of coal gas, but in brilliancy
and purity of liKiil, it possesses a decided aurau-taaa-awer
any. eai gas. It requires no chimney,
there is no need ef daily trimming of a w'iek, and
the construction of the fixtures is so simple that il is
not I table to get out of older, snd a child can man
age it r.arfity. The gas burned la lhe Vesper fix
ture is generated from, pure coal oil, or "Vesper
Oil," (which is manufactured expressly for this bur
ner,) without any admixture of alcohol or other
foreign ingredients, aud its supply is unlimited.
Tbe fixtures themselves are adapted in styles to
suit ail tastes, from tbe plain, simple light burner
to the most elegant and costly chindelier. - Each
fixture isperlect in iuelf ; there is no out ay to be
made for service pics, meters,, regulatois, ic.
Ibe gas is generated iu this burner, aud all fixtures,
from the cheap single-light to the expensive chan
delier, minature as woiks, areiu themselves. They
are sold at prices which do notexceed the cost ol or
