rpHIS GAS is generated from rare Coal Oil and
L for elegance, economy, safety and simplicity
cannot be surpassed. Tbe fixtures are in tbe same
style as tbe ordinary Gas fixtures.
Its advantages are : tuia. it is a portable gas light,
no rivaled for brilliancy, cheapness, cleanliness and
simplicity, and can be used wherever artificial light
is required, it is easy to regulate, una requires no
ttrimming, aod for attention, whatever, after light
ing. It is perfectly safe and free from explosion,
and bas do odor or smell while burning. The ligbt
can be made to burn with any degree of brilliancy,
by turning a screw, aod be increased Instantane
ously in volume from that of a candle to ten or
twenty, by turning a valve as in ordinary gas.
The Vesper lias name aud fixtures precisely re
semble, in form , those of coal gas, but in brilliancy
and purity of light, it possesses a decided advan
tage over any coal gas. It requires no chimney,
tbere is no need of daily trimming of a wiek, and
the construction of tbe fixtures is so simple that it is
not liable to get out of order, and a child can man
age it readily The gas burned iu Ibe Vesper fix
lure is generated from pura coal oil, or "Vesper
Oil," (which is manufactured expressly for this bur
ner,) without any admixture of alcohol or other
foreign ingredients, and its supply tsniimited.
Tbe fixture tbemsolvea'are adapted iu styles to
su'tall tastes, from the plain,' simple light burner
to the most elegant aod costly chandelier. Each
fixture is perfect in itself there is no outlay to be
made for service pipes , meters, regulators, ftc.

dinary gas fixtures ot similar styles and ornamenta
