Mr. Benjamin Petree,an old citizen of Andrew county, living one mile and a quarter cast of Savannah, has swopped farms with Mr. D. 1. Hall, of Nodaway county, whose farm lies eight miles north of Graham, and five miles south Quitman. It was about an even trade. Mr. Pctree's farm consisted of eighty acres, with a fine bearing orchard : Mr. Hall's tiact, of 120 acres, about half in cultivation, with small orchard. Mr. Petree moves up to Nodaway in the spring ; and Mr. Hall becomes a- citizen of Andrew at the same time. Mr. Hall moved from Andrew to Nodaway coitn- ly twenty-one or two years ago. and lias a number of relatives and acquaintances in this county. By this arrange ment each county has lost and gained a good citizen. There will be regular services (D.V.) hereafter, until further notice, in the Epiacopal Church, every Sunday at 10: S0 a. m., and occasionally in the even ing at 7 -.30. Sunday School lor the winter immediately after morning ser vice. The hcuse is free to all God's worshipers, and their attendance desir ed. The culture of the Grape in New Jer sey is getting to be one of the most im portant industries of the State. The principal varieties raised are the Oporto and Concord. Mr. Speer's vineyards at Passaic promises a larger yield this than any previous year. In consequence Mr. Speer iias reduced the price of his Port Grape Wine. The oldest can now be had for $1 per bottle from any of the druggists. It is used for medicinal pur poses as a superior wine, and in families as an excellent party wine.
