The bid wall be accompanied by certi fied cheque to the order of the President of the Police Jury of the Parish of St. Charles, certified by a Louisiana Bank, for Twenty Five hundred dollars ($2500. 00); the cheque of the successful bidder will be credited on bis purchase price or forfeited to the Parish of St. Charles in the event of his failure to fulfill the con ditions of his bid.
