That w e firmly believe that the above enumerated advantages in favor of the locali>if» at Bristol, are equal to a subscription 01 not less than four hundud thousand dollars. Resolved, That the company now controlling the charter be respectfully requested to have a survey made of the route from Bristol. The above report having been unanimously adop ted, it w as, on motion, Resolved. That Col. S. E. Goodson. A. K. Moore and .1. G. King be appoiu ed a special committee to visit Abingdon and confer with the representative ot the Northern capitalists, who now propose to sub scribe largely to the stock of this road.
