ing or its members ; but it was
held duriug the session of Court
at which it was supposed Mr.
Webber would be proceeded
against criminally, and wo did not
cousider that its publication would
be proper at that time. (Iu point
of fact, Sheriff Wiuslow is a mere
figure-head, aud is in uo way re
sponsible for anything done in the
Sheriff's office ; as he has placed
Mr. Webber iu absolute chargo of
it.)
