I If he reads the papers he will know it j came from the Leader. Mr. P. B. Foster, a well-known and highly esteemed planter, whoso plan tation is near Huntington, died there iast Friday. His remains were brought to the city Saturday and sent from here to his home in Canton, Miss., for burial Sunday morning. His family have the true sympathy of their many friends in the city, who deeply deplore the loss of such a man as P. li. Foster. There was weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth in the photograph studio of C. G. Bell last Tuesday morn ing. Several days since the workmen completed a large water tank in the back yard, and Mr. Bell cou'.d hardly wait for a rair. to come and fill it. It seemed as though the heavens had gone dry. But all things come to him who waits, and Monday night the rain came down in torrents. Arriving at his 9tudio next morning, Mr. Bell ad justed his glasses and hastened to take a peep at his "brimming" tank.
