A POSITIVE AliD RADICAL CURE FOR DRUNKENNESS To the Wives, Mothers, and Sisters of Drinking Men:— It lies in yonr own hands to save the husband, son, or brother from the awful disease of drunkenness. The Golden Speei/le can be administered without the knowledge of the patient. Ay simply placing It In coffee, tea. or in articles of food or drink, its presence will not be detected either by taste or smell, and after a few days TAKING A DRINK OF LIQUOR IS A PHYSICAL IMPOSSIBILITY. Drunkenness is a discan c, not a weakness. Primarily the appetite for alcoholic drinka must be cultivated; but when the appetite is once formed.it Is as much a disease as any other affliction for which medicine is administered. Every nerve, tissue and pore of the body is but a famished wolf with a million mouths gnawing upon the system and craving for . icohol. Pledges, temperance lectures, " dreadful examples,'' prayers, resolutions—all are futile. Not in a thousand can withstand the battle; not because he has not the desire, but be cause he is physically weak. He could aa easily abstain from eating food after a famine with & banquet at his hand, as to deny his hungry system in its awful craving for liquor. THE SPECIFIC AND LIQUOR CAN NOT EXIST IN THE SYSTEM TOGETHER. It would be amusing, were It not pitiful, to watch the man to v/hom the Specific has been given without his knowledge. At first, out of habit, and not realizing that the good work has begun, he pours out bis drink. He swallows it and shudders. Tlie next attempt, he raises the liquor to his lips, gets its odor in bis nostrils, and sets the glass down, usually with the remark that "somenow, 1 am not whisky hungry." From this moment he is saved. No physical prostration, no ''jim-Jams," no ill-effects will appear —the man is no more a drunk ard than the child who never knew the taste of liquor. The Cure is ^Permanent, , I one WIVES, MOTHERS, SISTERS, Can you afford to neglect this means of saving the husband, son. that you love and desire to save the erring one, so certain do we offer you the means lo ac complish such a result. Instead of sitting hopelessly at home, praying for the help that does not come; instead of putting one iota of trust in any system of pledges or reform, brother? As certain as COME TO THE RESCUE YOURSELVES. Tou can administer this remedy quietly, easily, and without the patient's knowledge. It never fails, and the cure la Rapid, Positive and Permanent. In hundreds of cases where Dr. Huines has administered the remedy in his own practice, there never has been a failure. He feels that wretchedness, blighted homes, suffering wives and children, every inBtinct of humanity, demand that the widest publicity be gi this greatest of all beneficial discoveries. It is sold at a price which will enable us to accom plish such a work, while not placing the remedy beyond the reach of any one. The Specific is prepared In powdered form and put up in packages for mailing, or shipping by express. Especial care fs taken that the contents can not be divulged to any but the party addressed, as there are many who are sensitive on this point; besides, to let its nature be known might frustrate the plans for Its administration. One package will cure any ordinary case. T\ packages will cure the most obstinate case. This is positively Guaranteed, or money refunded. PRICES: One Package by .flail, post-paid.g:c.U6.
