Frank Worrell has thus far com pletely ignored the acceptance of his challenge for a game of checkers which he issued through the Evening News several weeks ago. He said at that time he would play any man any number of games for any amount of ^money. A prominent business man of this city, as has been told in the News, ha? left $25 in this office and accepted Worrell's challenge. The name of this man can be learned by calling at the publication office, but Mr . Worrell has not taken the trouble to do that. The money is still here and if Worrell wants the match it is not yet too late. The money has been posted in good faith and all that is needed is for Worrell to oover the pile. KEYPORT COMING HERE. Shamrock III., Sir Thomas Linton's new cnp challenger, was completely dismantled by a sudden squall yester day, as the start was made for a trial snin with Shamrock I. Sir Thomas Lipton, who was aboard with several guests, was severely in jured from being knocked down a oompanionwav. One man. Collyer, a steward, and a brother-in-law of Capt. Wringe, lost his life from being swept overboard by the falling oanvas. The hull of the new challenger is uninjured and Sir Thomas says the cup races will not be'delayed. The squall came so suddenly that it was over, and Shamrock III. had been swept dear of everything above deck, before those aboard realized what had happened. Sir Thomas was averse to taking the boats out yesterday, be cause of bad weather ; but upon being urged to do so he, gave a reluctant consent. The wind was not greater in velooity than frequently occurs during cup races, but it apparently was of greater body, coming puffy and cold off shore from the northeast. HANSEN TRAINING HARD. A GREAT FACTOR IN EVERY DAY LIFE. In these days of rapid progress, one of the most important factors in business and science; in transportation ; in sports and in fact almost everything is speed. Speed is also an important factor in the curative powers of medicine, and it has been proven by an avalanche of tes timonials, that the greatest remedy for speed and rapidity in relieving and cur ing diseases of the kidneys and bladder, blood, liver, rheumatism, dyspepsia and chronic constipation, is DR. DAVID KENNEDY'S FAVORITE REMEDY. The speed of this wonderful discovery for diseases of the kidneys and bladder, is not so rapid as to injure and interfere with the other healthy organs of the body ; but rather of a gradual uniform speed, consistent with the best results. If your back pains you ; if your urine, after you have deposited some in a glass, and let it stand for 24 hours, has a smoky, milky appearance; if you have a frequent desire to urinate during the night and scalding pains accompany its passage, your kidneys and bladder re quire instant treatment, by taking Dr. David Kennedy's Favorite Remedy. The startling results of this renowned remedy, in relieving and curing diseases of the kidneys and bladder have amazed the whole medical world.
