At a special meeting of the Sociable A. O. , held in their rooms on Park avenue last week, a building commit tee was appointed for the purpose of purchasing a lot for the erection of the new club house -which the mem bers of the club expect to erect very shortly. The committee consists of Lars Larsen, chairman; H. P. Hansen and S. Olemenson. The committee wants a lot about 35x100 feet. The Sociable club has enough money in the bank at the pres ent time to buy the lot free and clear and still have a littl left to start the building. After the building is started the olub may borrow the necessary sum to complete the work. There are many members of the club who could loan the neoessary cash to finish the work and it is said they have expressed their willingness to do so. In a very short time it is probable that the So ciable A. 0. will boast of one of the finest club houses in Perth Amboy.
