THIS YACHTSMAN IS PROUD New Brunswick Man Upset in Lower Bay and was Rescued by Erin's Crew. Jacob Zieglor, of New Brunswick, whose catboat Yankee was wrecked on Friday afternoon in the lower bay, and who was rescued with his party by lannches from Lipton's Erin, has the distinction of now having a boat whose rigging was designed by Fife, of Fairlie, the famous designer who built the three Sharinocks. While the party from the catboat were being wrung out and dried, after the wreck and rescue, the carpenter of the Erin, acting under directions from Mr. Fife, unstepped the broken niast oat of the catboat and cut a new step. Then the mast was restepped, and the Bail bent on, several changes being made by Mr. Fife. Of oourse he didn 't put quite as much gray matter in the task as he did in the rigging of the Sham rock, but Captain Ziegler insists that the Yankee sails five joints closer to the wind than she did before Designer Fife superintended the new rigging.
