The Deltas will play the Star base ball team of South Amboy tomorrow afternoon for a side bet of $5. The Deltas are in fine form and claim that they will win the game without any trouble. Aleu Oleson will do the pitching and R. Lind the catching for the Deltas. They will leave this city for South Amboy on tho 2 o’clock train over the Central and all the players are requested to be at the depot at 1.45. WILL PLAY TOMORROW. At the last regular meeting of the Young Men’s Hebrew Association, held in their rooms in the Adelaide building, it was decided to hold a row boat race. The course will be from Boynton Beach to the Staten Island shore across the sound. There will be suitable prizes for the winner of the contest, also a booby prize for the last man in. At a meeting to be held this week, a date will be set. BASEBALL NOTES. In the Eastern League, Baltimore, with which team Burchell is pitching, has moved up to third place, Newark dropping to fourth place. Baltimore won two games yesterday from Wor cester. In the morning the score was 7 to 4 and in the afternoon, in which game Burchell pitched, the score was 23 to 1. Worcester got but 7 hits while Baltimore got 24. At Ridgewood tomorrow the Ridge woods will play the Cuban X Giants. As both teams are putting up a gilt edged article of ball these days a red hot tussle should result. The All Cuban team, which is made up of the fastest young ball tossers in Cuba, will play the Hoboken team at the St. George Crioket Grounds in Hoboken, tomorrow. _____ ULU II Mt RIVALS. The first team of the Raritan Copper Works and the first team of the Perth Amboy Terra Cotta Works are playing ball on the Copper Works diamond this afternoon. Both teams are old time rivals and the game will be a hotly contested one. Lonis Smith will pitch and Remy Yates will catch for the Copper Works team. Leonard Grimley and Nels Linderberg are the battery for the terra cotta team. FIRST AND SCRUBS.
