Holm,editor of the Folkeblad, has returned to this city after a stay of several weeks in Denmark. Miss Millie Oliver has returned lo her duties at bonis Briegs’ store after a week’s vacation. William Pfeiffer and Louis Jones of Trenton, who are visitors at the home of Frank Van Horn, Hobart street, went out fishing Monday and came back with a number of weak fish. Among the arrivals on Monday here were Mrs. A. F. Schneider, formerly of this citv, and her daughter Marga ret, who have spent the last, two years in Mexico where Mr. Schneider has established extensive smelting works. They are the guests of Miss E. K. Paterson, and expect to remain here during the autumn. Theodore Simmen was arraigned before the recorder this morning on a charge of threatening the life of V. 0. Hansen, who had some trouble with Simmen in regard to rent. The case was dismissed. John Brnwn was arraigned in the _i • a. _:„~ of laying hands upon Adam Blekisk. The two familes had some difference over a cow and it appeared to be a ease of “free tight, ” and the case was thrown out of court. Charles Donahue, John Litiderman and Jamos Kelly wore found by Patrolman Morris last night about 11.30 sleoping in a sited at the Ameri can Smelting and Refining Comnany’s plant. They “had no money, but a trood excuse,” so all three wore dis charged with reprimands. Charles Klim, charged by his wife with making threats, was discharged with n reprimand. Richard Waller was brought in yes terday bv officer Long on a charge of being drunk and disorderly and was discharged in court this morning. TICKETS FOR YACHT FACES. It is announced that the Raritan Yacht Club will not have any boat running to the yacht race tomorrow, but that Conrad F. Hall has tickets for boats sailing from New York and they can be secured from him at any time.
