HELD FOR 6RAND JURY
Two men have been held to await
the action of the grand Jury and two
others have been fined as the result
of disorderly charges preferred be
fore H#oorder PIckersglll today. Two
of the prisoners, one of whom carried
a loaded revolver, according to the
police, were accused of acting disor
derly about factories here yesterday
afternoon.
Mike Kupsa, forty-two years old,
of Inelee street, and Albert Hallak,
thlrty-elx years old, of 63S Cather

Selboth on complaint of William
Drost, for the American Smelting and
Refining Company. It was charged
that they acted disorderly at the
smelting plant and attempted to re
peal with presentation of pay checks.
Drost paid he took a loaded revolver
from Kupsa after the latter had
made threats. Kupsa was ordered
held under $500 ball for the grand
jury, ajid Hallak was fined {10.
Franke Zales, twonty-elght years
old, of 697 Charles street, arrested on
complaint of Frank Rosea for the
Barber Asphalt Paving Company, on
a charge of being disorderly and
using vile language at the Barber
plant when he demanded pay yes
terday, -was also fined $10.

terday afternoon by Patrolmar Sei
both on a charge of being drunk and
beating hi wife, was today ordered
held in default of $300 bail to await
