Pick ersgill in the police court this morn ing. Mrs. Protonendes was arraign ed upon a disorderly conduct charge preferred by James Lamminis, who claimed that a child of the woman had killed his cat by pounding it with a rock. l-’ollowing the killing a violent bat tle of epithets ensued, in the course of which a large amount of abusive and insulting language was ex changed by the parties concerned. From the number and vehemence of the witnesses present in the court room it seemed that the entire Greek colony of the city was wrought up over the murder. Plows were ex changed by both sides shortly after the killing: and these Were repro duced vividly in the court room for the benefit of the judge. A fine of $10 on the disorderly conduct charge was imposed upon ihe defendant by Recorder Piekers gill and upon payment the woman was dismissed. i I_AUTOMOBILES_ Anutomohllcs for Exchange_ 13 j FORD—Delivery, A-l condition, will ex I change for Ford Roadster.
