J)., pastor of the Peddle Memorial Baptist church of Newark; Rev. Frank Eckerson, of the Reformed Mission Board for eighteen years a missionary to South China; David M. Alaynurd, of Princeton University; * Hon. William N. Runyon, New Jer sey state senator; Rev. William Hi ram Foulkes, &. D.f general secre I tary of the Presbyterian New Era movement; Rev. Robert Watson. D. D., of New York city; Rev. Floyd W. Tompkins. S. T. IV of Philadelphia; Rev. F. Wr. Johnson, D. D., general secretary of the Lord's Day Alliance of New Jersey; Rev. David B. Tom kine, Ph. D., of Princeton; Mr. Al vin J. Shartle, treasurer and publi cation manager of the United Society of Christian Endeavor, and others. The Union County C. E. Union, who will act as the hosts, have com pleted plans to give their guests a most hearty welcome and to provide for their entertainment during the convention. Crim of Martinsville. Somerset county, N. J., to be assist ant attorney general. Mr. Crim Is a prominent lawyer, a member of thp bare of New Jersey and New York and a close friend of Senator Frelinghuy Sen's, coming from the senator's home county. The appointment was brought about by the personal endorsement of Sen ator Frelinghuysen. Edge's Secretary Resigns By GEORGE H. Edge and will end his services with the senator about October 1. when his successor will be appointed. He has been with Senator Lodge I since the latter came to the senate in May. 1919. During that time he has shared the senator's most intimate confidence on all business ana official matters, being much closer to him in I that respect than any other man.
