Feb. 13—Yes terday in St. Mary's church the reg ular monthly Holy Name rally was held when with few exceptions ev ery member of the society attendee the 7 o’clock mass and received holy communion in a body. Francis McCallion proclaimed one of the foremos speakers in the Trenton Diocese His subject was “The Struggle Sub lime," illustrated with moving pic ture reels. The lecture was giver in the school hall, which was filled to its capacity despite tile stormy evening. , “The Struggle Sublime” dealt with the struggle of Ireland for the past seven hundred years, and the recent step toward her freedom. The speak er entered in the hearts of his hear ers at the very beginning of his le ture and evidence of his stay there was proclaimed by the thunderous applause he received at regular in tervals of his address. The members of the Holy name Society meet each month on the sec ord Sunday when a fitting program is arranged for their benefit. Last month’s feature was the showing of the picture “The Blasphemer."
