STATE SCHOOLS TO SEND FOOD FOR THE ARMENIANS NEWARK, April 14.—A statewide movement Is underway to send a food ship from New Jersey to the orphans of the Near Hast. While much of this will 1 be contributed In bulk by Arms and j individuals, a statewide appeal has also been made among the school j ___ children of New Jersey to give a can of food on a certain day. For instance, tho Newark Board of Education lias authorized all the public schools to be opened as re iVivine stations on April 2$. The Hudson county board has set aside May 5 for the "Fill the Food Ship" day. The Parochial j schools of Hie Newark diocese also are helping.
