SOUTH AMBOY, June 10.—Luke
A. Lovely Post, No. 62, American
Legion, will clo8e their Jubiletf Pro‘
gram tonight at the foot of David
street after a two week's delay.
Should the weather prove inclement
the affair wiir be held on the first
clear night afterwards
While the Jubilee as a whole was
a complete success, a large amount
of material has been left over since
Memorial Dav. which was the last
day of the activities at the Leg.c.n
headquarters and the boys are anxi
ous that all of this stock be re
leased tonight. It Is understood
that as an added attraction, some
of the merchandise will be auction
ed off during the crurse of the eve
ning
William Boil, post electrician, has
again placed the lights in shape for
tonight's affair. The dancing floor
has not been removed end one of
the leading orchestras in this vicin
ity has been hired for tre occasion.
Due to the inclement weather of
[last Saturday night, a great number
of out of town posts were disap
pointed in not being able to get to
South Amboy. It is hejleved that
the automobile parties scheduled
for a week ago, will he made up
again for tonight, and that the
grounds adjoining the post home
will he packed with people.
Chairman Kosenberg has extend
ed a general invitation to the peo
ple of nearby cities to visit the Le
gion affair tonight and tc take ad
vantage of the opportunity of visit
ing the recently purchased home of
the local post.
